Use and protection of your data

Confector ("we," "us"), located at Av. Bonampak, Calle Cereza 7A, office 402, Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide us, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

We collect the data you provide yourself when filling out this site's contact form: contact name, company or legal name, email address, service of interest, and a brief description of your project.

We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union or political affiliation, among others).

Primary purposes, necessary to handle your request: following up on it, contacting you by email, phone or WhatsApp, and preparing proposals or quotes.

Secondary purpose, which you may refuse without affecting your request: preparing internal statistics on Confector's commercial performance. To refuse it, write to contacto@confector.mx.

We do not use your data to send you unsolicited advertising, nor do we sell it to third parties.

Your data is stored securely with Supabase, our technology infrastructure provider; the site is hosted on Lovable, which also counts visits, and follow-up WhatsApp messages are sent through WhatsApp Business (Meta) when you leave us your phone number. These providers process your data on our behalf, and some store it outside Mexico, mainly in the United States. We do not share your data with any other third party unless required by law.

You may request Access, Rectification, Cancellation, or Opposition (ARCO rights) regarding the processing of your personal data at any time, as well as revoke your consent, by writing to contacto@confector.mx from the email you contacted us with, specifying your request. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days.

This site does not use advertising cookies or track you across other sites. It uses technical cookies strictly necessary to function, such as __dpl, which keeps serving you the same published version of the site.

In addition, Lovable, our hosting provider, counts visits with a 30-minute session cookie (session-id). It records the page you visit, your browser, your language and the page you came from. It does not record your name, your email or anything you type. It loads with the site and we cannot turn it off from here. If you don't want it set, block cookies for this site in your browser or browse in private mode.

We may update this privacy notice in response to changes in our practices or legal requirements. The current version will always be available on this same page.
